Orcas Island Historical Museums
Orcas Island Historical Museums will be holding our annual gala Saturday, April 25. The museums are unique in being the only object-based, interpretive heritage facility for the island, with a permanent collection comprised of approximately 6000 objects, paper documents and photographs. This annual event raises funds to support our general operations including being open year-round, maintaining our historic cabins and schoolhouse, and preserving island items and history.
This year’s gala is themed “Our Enchanted Forests” and includes live music, dinner, drinks, and live and silent auctions. Admission is $90 ($100 at the door) and the event will be held in the Madrona Room at the Orcas Center.
In the past we have put on the event through a combination of donations from members and donors. This year, as our auction fundraiser expands and continues to be a success, we are seeking additional sponsors and new relationships with local businesses.
As a sponsor, you will receive valuable advertising through poster signage, the event program, announcements, social media, and press materials (see details below).
With over 12,000 visitors at the museums last year, your sponsorship support will go far and reach many as we work to keep Orcas history alive and help you reach new customers. Many community patrons and island visitors attend our annual Gala. Your sponsorship will help ensure that we have a truly unique and memorable celebration.
